The Bob Marley Museum, as you would have guessed, is dedicated entirely to the reggae musician Bob Marley, one of the great heroes of the Island. It portrays the life and achievements of this phenomenal Rastaman through artifacts, memorabilia, numerous writings and photographs, as well as numerous head-turning mementos. The museum, is located at 56 Hope Road, Kingston 6 (only a twenty-minute drive from Norman Manley International Airport (Kingston), and is Bob Marley's former place of residence. It was home to the Tuff Gong record label which was founded by The Wailers in 1970. And in 1976, it was the site of a failed assassination attempt on Bob Marley.
